Hand-knotted precision
Weaving for a hand-knotted rug is carried out on a loom. The loom has a wooden frame that's strung with vertical threads of cotton looped tightly between the top and bottom bar to create tension. Weft threads, in this case wool, are woven horizontally to create the lovely rug.
