The final product looked great. Construction was easy and took one person 3 hours to assemble. Overall though, the product is very cheap quality mdf. Pre-assembled pieces were stapled, not glued or screwed. Don't over tighten the screws when assembling as you will break the chip wood. The drawers do not close flat when complete. I tried to see if there was anything I could move to make them close flat, but nothing could be adjusted. The veneer benchtops are so delicate that my pc mouse scratched right through it on first use. I have since purchased clear plastic film and covered it. If T&W used a better quality product, I would have gladly paid more, as the look is great. I recommend adding strength by using glue in all dowel joins and screwing additional plates to the stapled pre-assembled legs. Unfortunately, this desk will not last long, maybe a couple of years at the most, before it starts to fall apart. I do not recommend this for a child or teenager, but rather a mature person that treats it carefully in order to get longevity from the desk. |

Looks good and good design. Easy to put together. Materiel isn’t that sturdy - especially the drawers, so can’t store any heavy items in the drawers (e.g. heavy books). Great design for a small space. |

Excellent cabinet and desk combo! Required a drill in one step as holes weren’t pre-drilled. But overall, easy to assemble. |

Purchased this desk in the black version. Quite time consuming to assemble, 2 ppl x 4 hours = 8 hours Particle board construction not great quality and had a problem with board breaking during construction but managed to get around this to complete the job. Although the desk looks great in our study nook, I would not recommend it for the quality of the particle board and surface finish will not last too many years.
